What's in it:
- 1 LB 99% fat-free ground turkey (0 points)
- 1 small sweet onion, chopped (0 points)
- 1 package of fresh sliced mushrooms (white or portobello) (0 points)
- 1 can of fat-free cream of mushroom soup (6 points)
- 1C fat-free greek yogurt (0 points)
- 1/4C fat-free half&half (2 points)
- 1/2C fat-free chicken broth
- 6oz egg noodles (17 points)
- 1 package Lipton's Dry Onion Soup Mix (2 points)
- 1/2C frozen peas (0 points)
- seasoning: Garlic salt & pepper (to taste), 1tsp each: dried Sage, Rosemary & Thyme, 1tsp Worchester sauce, spray oil (0 points)
How to make it happen:
- Boil water, salt then add egg noodles cooking until they are al dente - remove from water and set aside
- Over medium heat, spritz large sautee pan with spray oil and add onion, garlic salt & pepper, cooking until soft
- Add ground turkey and season with sage, rosemary & thyme - cooking through
- Add mushrooms, Lipton onion soup mix, and 1/2C chicken broth - reduce heat and simmer for 5 min
- Add cooked noodles and frozen peas, cooking for another 3 min (until peas are cooked)
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, greek yogurt, half & half, and Worchester sauce - mix well and let cool for a few minutes to thicken
*Yields about 7 cups of chili at 4 points/cup*
Side Note: Swap out the noodles for spaghetti squash or zoodles and you can really skinny this down for 1.5 points per cup!
